Phoenix Orange Beach

I am looking for great places to stay at Gulf Shores and Orange Beach,Alabama.?

We are planning on going to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach AL. If you know of a great place on the beach that is not to pricey and is very clean we would love and apprecite any info.

1. depends what you call pricey. i have stayed at the hilton garden inn there before the hurricanes made a mess of things. dont know what the rates are now, but if you want a view of the beach and gulf you have to ask for it. more expensive of course. nice place, but like everything else over there, its tourist driven and a lot of tourist traps. lots of mediocre but expensive restaurants. beach and water are great.
2. For the money, one place to look at is the gulf front park owned by the state. The beach is beautiful and the price is right.
